Accessibility Statement

Accessibility

Our commitment to making CursiveText-Generator.com readable, keyboard-friendly, and usable across assistive devices.

Last Updated: September 18, 2026 Official Policy

We want CursiveText-Generator.com to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including individuals using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnifiers, and alternative input devices.

Because this website focuses on decorative and stylized text, accessibility is especially important. Styled Unicode characters can sometimes be harder to read with assistive technology, so we aim to provide clear labels, standard-text explanations, and accessible controls around all generated results.

1. Our Accessibility Goals

In building and maintaining our platform, we actively incorporate modern digital accessibility standards (including WCAG 2.1 Level AA principles):

⌨️ Full Keyboard Navigation

All interactive componentsβ€”including text inputs, copy buttons, tabs, modal controls, and dropdownsβ€”are fully navigable using standard Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Space keys.

🎯 Visible Focus Indicators

High-contrast, prominent focus rings appear around active interactive elements during keyboard navigation to ensure cursor location is always clear.

🎨 High-Contrast Typography

Body text, buttons, and badges meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their background surfaces in both Dark and Light display modes.

🏷️ Descriptive Labels & ARIA

Icon-only buttons and live clipboard alerts include descriptive aria-label and aria-live attributes for assistive screen reader announcements.

πŸ“± Responsive & Scalable Layout

Layouts flex cleanly across all screen sizes and support browser zoom scaling up to 200% without loss of content or horizontal text clipping.

🚫 Reduced Motion Support

We respect system prefers-reduced-motion settings by disabling decorative animations and instant transitions for motion-sensitive users.

2. Decorative Unicode and Accessibility

It is important to understand how assistive technologies handle stylized Unicode text. Characters such as Mathematical Script (𝒯𝑒𝓍𝓉) or Fraktur (𝔗𝔒𝔡𝔱) are technical symbols in the Unicode standard.

Depending on the specific screen reader software (such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, or TalkBack), these characters may be announced literally by their mathematical symbol names (for example, reading "Mathematical Script Capital T, Mathematical Script Small E...") rather than as standard flowing words.

Best Practice Recommendation

For this reason, we strongly recommend using standard plain text for:

  • Critical safety instructions and announcements
  • Official contact information and email addresses
  • Long paragraphs and educational articles
  • Accessibility-sensitive communication and legal documents

Generated decorative text should generally be treated as optional visual styling for headings, bios, and creative signatures rather than a substitute for readable functional content.

3. Keyboard Navigation & Usability

Our primary generator and all navigation controls have been tested to ensure smooth operation without a mouse:

  • Pressing Tab moves sequentially through the text input, category filter buttons, copy buttons, and footer links.
  • Pressing Enter or Space activates style copy buttons, triggering visual and screen-reader accessible confirmation toasts.
  • Form inputs have explicit <label> associations and high-visibility focus states.

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, certain inherent limitations exist:

  • Third-Party Screen Reader Variations: Because Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols are interpreted differently across screen reader versions, their pronunciation cannot be globally overridden when pasted into third-party apps like Instagram or TikTok.
  • Canvas Image Exports: PNG graphics downloaded from the Cursive Signature Generator or Wedding Font Generator are visual image files. When using exported images in external web documents, always supply descriptive alt text.

5. Report an Accessibility Problem

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on CursiveText-Generator.com or have suggestions on how we can improve usability, please let us know through our Contact Page.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please mention:

  • The specific page URL where you experienced the issue
  • The barrier or problem encountered
  • Your browser, operating system, and assistive technology (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, keyboard-only) if you are comfortable sharing it
